1 John 1:1 KJV That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
The above Bible passage reveals the dimensions of reality in the Word. We are going to carefully examine this.
The Bible in John 1:1 reveals that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So, it doesn’t matter if you don’t believe in the Word, He exists and is older than you. In fact, you are made by Him (The Word).
The first process is hearing. Romans 10:17 KJV So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Words are a seed, as you speak over and over to the hearing of a man, it builds up a belief in the words. That’s why Apostle Paul is encouraging that one of the ways to build up our faith is through hearing the word of God. The devil knows how effective this tool is and is discouraging speaking the Word of Life in public places, schools, and the likes. The devil also makes it difficult for many Christians to scale through this dimension.
After hearing over and over again, the Word comes alive. You begin to see as the 3 (three) Apostles on Mount of Transfiguration. Remember Matthew 17:4 KJV Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. You will begin to see the manifestation of the Word but you must not stop here.
After the revelation, you must desire to touch. Jesus called Thomas to move close after His resurrection. He encouraged him to touch the hole from the piercing of the nail in His palm. You must crave for more like Moses after being assured of God’s presence. He told replied that if God won’t go with them they won’t go to battle. He asked for God’s Glory and got it. Like Peter when He saw Jesus walking on water. He asked to join the Master on the walk.
You can’t get enough of God. There is no limitation in Him. Don’t be satisfied with your present encounter. Cry out today for more.
The limitation of the dimension of the Word is your heart.
Let us pray: Father, take me on another encounter.
