Emotion and Action
1 Samuel 30:4 KJV Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
Most of us who find it difficult talking about our hardship. Who doesn’t find it easy to express our challenges in words, use the easy way out for ourselves. The easy way to lift the burden of our hearts. We choose solitude and cry our hearts out. We don’t want to be comforted. We sob uncontrollably till when we are satisfied.
I feel it’s a good thing to do and helps your health. Crying will ease the tension and help a heavy heart. So whenever I’m tensed I cry because I think it’s healthy for me and whenever someone comes to me sharing a few their burdens. I don’t discourage them from crying. Meanwhile, some think it is manly not to cry.
As good and healthy crying is. It doesn’t do what you have to do for yourself. So when you are done crying. Spring up to action. 1 Samuel 30:6b KJV but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. Just like David, encourage yourself.
When David and his men were crying nothing happened until he acted no recovery was made. None of the loss you’ve encountered can be restored if you don’t go back to God in prayers. There won’t be a way out if you keep crying and not acting.
You don’t cry when you need to pray and don’t pray when you ought to cry.
Act Now: Tell God about your worries now. I’m sure He is set to answer.
