Don’t Become Poor
Proverbs 14:20 KJV The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.
When a man hears the word poor. The first thing that comes to his mind is lack of money. But really, money is a servant. Ecclesiastes 10:19 KJV A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
One can still be poor even when helped with a lump sum of money. So I want to tell you that money hasn’t been and will never be a solution to those who don’t have the power to tame and retain it.
If you don’t want to die poor, stop chasing money. I’ve discovered that people only increase their pains and sorrows trying to chase money. 1 Timothy 6:10 KJV For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Increase your value, increase your knowledge, increase your skills. When you increase in value, your worth increases and then your bank account grows. I try adding to my knowledge always and it’s become a part of me and when I don’t. It’s always like I’m in a drought of knowledge. Explore, don’t be confined to a skill.
Invest in books that will help your dream grow. Listen to people who have succeeded in your field. Save for the future. Acknowledge God in all your ways. And see how things will change for you.
Learn from onions. Shed off poverty by your mentality.
Let us Pray: Father, help me with the power of a sound mind to be wealthy.
