The Anointing and The Goodnews
Acts 10:38 KJV How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus Christ during His ministry on earth used to be a controversial person. Controversial in the sense that everything He does was against human nature. What will you call a man who was a threat to doctors? A man who wants equal right for all. A man who never sees the gift of God as a merchandising opportunity. One who never put himself first. He never had a dream of His own. Only the Father’s will was what He cared about. All these and many more were recorded about Him.
You can not receive the anointing and be the normal or regular human being. The anointing will transform you. The anointing will change everything about you.
Nature is supposed to work in favour of man but because the man lost dominion and curse was placed on him. Everything started working against man, as the enemy of God. The disobedient is regarded as an enemy of God. Rom. 5:10 KJV For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. So, it wasn’t normal for a man to be weak, sick, having evil thoughts, etc. Until man lost dominion.
The Anointing is the Holy Spirit of God. He brings back the dominion. He restores us back to the man whom God has made us be. Restoring the crown, the scepter, and the signet. Your walk in the Spirit and the miracles that follow you is termed, “irregular” to the regular human. When a commands the rain, speaks to sicknesses and diseases and they respond. Such a man is not an ordinary man. He has ordained us to be this irregular man and to let others know it is possible to live this paranormal life.
Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem (your family and relatives), and in all Judaea (your community, local government or state), and in Samaria (your country), and unto the uttermost part of the earth. My emphasis. One beautiful thing about the Goodnews is that we do and teach. Acts 1:1 KJV The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach. You have gotten the anointing to do good and to teach others to do so. From your family and relatives to your community, local government, state and then your country before you reach the world. As you share the Goodnews, you confirm it with works through the anointing. Mark 16:17-18
