The Willpower

Deut 30:15 KJV See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

Ever since man ate of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Things have never been the same. Man has to be responsible for His choices and actions and has to face the outcome of His choice(s).

Man used to answer only to God and by this we had the nature of God. Everything Man does was in HIm, for Him and with Him alone. Man used to have only the knowledge of God and that was the best for man until dominion was given out to the devil through answering to the advice of the devil in the garden of Eden.

Every child given birth to by man inherits the nature of sin because we have been sold out to the devil. Rom 6:16 KJV Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Man has come to know two masters; God, which is good and Satan, which is evil. But the good master knew from the beginning that the devil will deceive man. So He made provision for man by giving man the greatest power which is choice (willpower) Deut 30:15.

As good as God is and as appealing as the promise of redemption through Christ is in John 3:16. It is for only those who are ready to make a choice. The choice to either be with the slavemaster in hell or the Righteous King in glory.

Choice is the only power God and devil cannot override.

Ponder: It is tasking to be committed to good or evil but commitment to good ends with Joy.
